Webgames can be incredibly persuasive, dynamic and engaging; bringing complex social issues and ideas to life. In July 2008, a group of 10 young people from New Orleans developed an original webgame using MyHLife.org. They named it “The Ultimate Lunch Tray” (click here to play). “The Ultimate Lunch Tray” expressed their ideas about making school cafeterias healthier and more inclusive of foods from local farmers, and therefore better at supporting the local economy in Louisiana. Their game and press conference about nutrition issues inspired the Louisiana Department of Education to rethink school cafeterias.
