Globaloria participants find the program to be fun, hard-fun. The Foundation’s research team, and research partners from around the state, conduct intensive research into the impact of the program on students and educators, their learning, skill development, participation and engagement. This real-time research helps us understand learning in a whole new way, improve the program, its tools and methods, and make sure we are doing the best we can. Watch this video blog, self-produced by the “Five Experimental Ninjas” team, 5 high-school students from Randolph Technical Center, who also completed “Game Design II” for college credit at Marshall Community Technical College. They go to school 5 hours away, on the other corner of the state, and took it virtually. They documented themselves before and after their game presentation to the WV First Lady and the Globaloria-WV Advisory Board. See for yourself if they had a great time! (June 2008).
