There is nothing more exciting than solving problems and inventing game ideas that can transform the world! Don't take our word for it, watch Voices from the Field and hear it directly from students Phyllis, Joshua, Seth, Andrew, Qianna, Alexia and Mercedes and their educators, Ingrida, Jeremy, Clinton and Bill.

Reducing greenhouse gases, preventing teen pregnancy, promoting healthy eating, advocating proper hygiene, celebrating our communities - these are just some of the issues Globaloria students hope to positively impact with their games in 2009. 3. We wish you a year of collaboration and contribution!

Globaloria educators support each other and encourage collaboration among their students: "It is interesting to see the students work together to solve problems - It reminds me that this is not the typical classroom where the teacher lectures and all the students do the same assignments - It is exciting," says Denise Stalnaker in her Learning and Teaching progress report. Her colleague Ingrida Barker adds "My students loved Denise's students' comments about their game pages and returned the favor. I think this activity sparked the interest of some of the students who were less motivated and kept them more on task."
